ART HEALING
Chakra Energy Healing through the creative process.
In my art healing modality, I guide you through an active healing meditation where, with intention, you begin to paint out a density or trauma sitting in one of your chakras through the frequency of its color. As a healer and painting teacher, I will help you to actively transmute the dense energy of focus by the creative flow of your own hand and imagination, making it a personally catered healing experience and painting class. With intention, focus and color play, we will shift old patterns and beliefs that got held in the energetic chakra system, patterns that perhaps needed be to move but became ingulfed with your vital life force instead, disrupting its’ natural flow. Through color frequency and visualization, this guided healing will help you paint out the pain and resistance that’s been holding you back from living a life of joy, health, creation, prosperity and equilibrium. You can take an active participation in your own healing through your creativity, while I hold that space and container for you with direction and support. Here is an invitation to tap within yourself and discover your inherent creator energy and potential, that you can actively change the energetic frequency of your being, your electromagnetic field, by making art to transform what is no longer serving you into something new that is.
No artistic experience is necessary for this healing, everyone is welcome. Just stay curious and open.
What are chakras?
Chakras are energy vortexes located in various parts in our bodies that help govern our life force energy, sometimes called prana/chi/kha, to run efficiently and allow a healthy vibration to emanate from within. Our prana correlates with our breath and blood flow in the physical body. Our seven main chakras run along our spine from the base, or perineum, all the way up to the crown of our head. Each chakra has it’s own color, frequency and characteristic that expresses how we integrate the many aspects of our being and present ourselves to the world as well as what we attract into our lives. Charkas balance our mind, body, emotions and spirit- all of which are interwoven within all the fabrics of our energy, the pranic life force that keeps us alive and functioning. When we release lower vibrational energy and submerge into a higher one, we raise the frequency of our being to allow for healing, abundance, manifestation and spiritual awakening.
We also have chakras at every fingertip, toe, organ of our bodies. They all operate at different frequencies based on the flow of energy throughout the body, and thus relating to our breath, blood flow and nervous system. When we remove unnecessary baggage from our energetic system, our physical bodies are affected as well, running more smoothly because the chakra wheel is spinning at the optimal capacity, awakening you back to health and vibrance as your body runs more efficiently.
Colors have a frequency!
“Color, like features, follow the changes of the emotions.”
-Pablo Picasso
Color is the form through which we perceive light. Light is electromagnetic energy that forms into different waves of vibrational frequency, giving us the different colors of the visible light spectrum that we see every day. Each color has a wave of energy in the red-violet color spectrum and a large percentage of the information that comes to us in visible form and visual communication is perceived as patterns of color. Subtle changes in frequency of light has enormous affect upon our minds and bodies. Colors are the very fabric of our seeing and can affect our psychological and physical expression, stimulating our bodily enzymes to promote healing. Colors are also high octaves of material manifestation, having the ability to influence matter and be used with visualization for self healing. Aligning along our spine from the base to the crown, the color spectrum is a tangible form of expression of the seven planes associated with the chakra system and can transmute energy from our bodies into a creative, physical form with intention. By utilizing colors as a transmutation tool, we can evoke internal balance on all levels through our own artistic expression.
Why creative healing is an invaluable tool in our lives.
We were born to create. We, as humans, are such extraordinary beings full of potential to mold and create our lives to our highest calling. Often times we are not even aware of these gifts! Most of us live our lives in repetitive patterns, one day merging into the next as we yearn to experience our life in a profound and yet can’t seem to break out of our habitual ways of going through the motions. This causes us to feel stuck as though we are victims to life’s circumstances, unfulfilled and full of the coulda-woulda-shoulda regrets. What I want to tell you is all of that is an illusion. It is unfortunate that in our society we are taught to live from a place of scarcity and survival, focusing only on material gain while utilizing only a fraction of our manifesting abilities as creators. The key to unlocking this is creative action. We thrive when we are making things that take up our undivided focus and intention. It is how we live fully in the present moment. With that being said, what if we used our creative force to release trauma, dis-ease and blocks from our vital energy fields? Creativity moves our emotions, which are just “energy in motion”. Emotions that have been shelved, ignored and unprocessed get stuck our energy field, or our aura, and eventually trickle into to our physical bodies, causing ailments, blockages and dis-ease. By tackling dense energy before it festers into a denser, physical frequency, we can keep our vital life force moving with ease, aligning with a higher vibration of daily choices and using our focus and will to attract what we want without strain. As a healer, I want to help guide you to your creative rediscovery, an innate human gift that lives in every one of us, waiting to be called upon to create joy in your life. It is the very essence of our being, to evoke that part of us that wants to step away from suffering to, instead, find the very awe of living.
